Photos of my QRP station in Chicago when
licensed as WD9ADE and then AA9N. Antenna
was 40 feet of aluminum storm windows
jumpered together and tuned with a simple “L” tuner.
I worked Japan every day and Oceania frequently at
sunset during the hot solar cycle in 1977-1980.
